SEMA, it made me take pictures #3
Its utter madness, a disease that drives you crazy, takes your money, keeps you awake at night and causes lots of divorces. A man has to be compelled beyond reason to create a work of art like this. It's not my cup of tea but one has to admire the talent and workmanship and just plain craziness of this truck. Its a full polished stainless ladder framed, blown ratified, airbrushed, giant sound system, hydraulically augmented solute to America and it's armed forces.
That blown rat motor is also electronically fuel injected and innercooled and if it ain't chromed or polished it's airbrushed. By the way there's not just one polished stainless ladder frame, there are TWO, one of them holds the body so the hydraulics can lift it off the other one!
The thing that blows my mind is how well the whole thing was executed, all welds ground, every joint on the stainless frame is perfectly blended and the paintwork is just dazzling !!!
I wish I had got the data from the showcard so I could give credit to it's creators but I'm sure you will be seeing a lot of this truck in the near future.
More SEMA machines that made me take pics 2
Here is another of Rafik's creations, this time sporting a V twin of the water cooled variety. I also don't know what kind of motor it is but I suspect Japanese and perhaps Honda. That's not really the important part anyway, it's everything else. The most coolest of which is that crazy cable suspension system front and rear.
He's used the block and tackle theory of reducing the force needed to move something. The number of times the cable is doubled lessens the force needed bu half ...only this time it's in reverse. The springs holding this trike up look like they came out of an erector set. Then for adjustable shocks it's front end stabilizers! It even has an adjustment at one end of the cable to easily adjust ride height. Brilliant says I!!!
I also like how he air brushed all the welds black and it don't appear to have a single unbent piece of tubing anywhere. I would love to take that thing for a blast around the block!

SEMA:Machines that made me take lots of pictures
This kat Rafik Kaissi has a fucking screw loose in a good way. He had several of his creations there and even if they aren't your cup of tea you have to admire the ingenuity ,craftsmanship and just plain balls to bring these girls to the party. This thing has a lot going on but primarily it's a BIG bearing kinda thing.
I don't know where you go to get these kind of bearings and I am unfamiliar with the lump of 2 stroke "factory racing" motor in the middle but that don't matter, it's bad ass.
From the giant center bearing that everything is hung off of and suspended, to the big ass bearings that make up the wheels the clever use of these pieces are not something the average Joe would even dream of to base a motorcycle on.
The time spent on machining alone would keep me awake nights just thinking about how to do it. The welding is impeccable, and did you notice, it's all done up with socket head bolts.
Lots of special little details on this one for all the fabrication wacko's to spend hours perusing. I've seen Rafiks work before and you will recognize a couple of his other bikes, but this one takes the fucking cake and made me take lots of pictures, enjoy...

The Girls of SEMA!!!
Now that I've got your attention.......Doug and I went to Sema for 3 days this year and between the two of us we took about 2000 pictures. So for the next week or so I will be posting pics until I get tired of it then I'll put them all on photobucket so you can peruse them at your leisure If you have never attended the SEMA show then you better put it on your bucket list and find someone who can take you. It's on for 4 days and there is absolutely no way you can see it all in that time. This is Nirvana for the motor head and many top builders use this venue to display there work for the first time. I will show you all the stuff I like best first...the girls are just a teaser to get yoiu interesting and because I get the most hits on anything that has "girls" in the heading. So check back tomorrow and every day thereafter to see pics of cool shit you have never seen before.
