I'M HERE

I really love this , if nothing else came from your workshops, the pairing of you two weirdos would be worth it IMHO.  Every project you do becomes more refined and entertaining.  I love that you left the traffic sounds and the low crazy jazz in the background.  Tommy, this is even better than the last video that I thought was your best, especially considering the equipment you guys have available .

300 HP ZX 14 by American Turbo Power for sale

My friend Harry at American Turbo Power has this ZX 14 for sale for a lowly price of $9500.00. Harry makes and installs these turbo systems and his work is second to none.  You can not duplicate this 300 HP, 200 + MPH, 8 second 1/4 miler for double the asking price.  You can literally ride this bike to Bonneville from L.A., make a well over 200 MPH pass and ride it home again. Very docile on the street, runs on pump gas and can be made much, MUCH faster, if you have the incentive to do so.  This bike is better than new and if I had the dough it would fuck'n be in my garage tonight.
Here is Harry's Facebook page link

Doug's Snowster final assembly!!! Pretty pretty!!!

Finally have some shots of the Snowster going together for the final time. Still have a few small parts at the chrome shop and you'll notice it's going together with available hardware. When it's all done we'll take it to TAMPA HARDWARE in the back of our truck and swap out all the Nuts and bolts with Chrome or stainless. Tampa has a full supply of that stuff.
Pretty pretty shiny shiny, Fender bracket with built in bumper and chain gaurd, new axle adjusters, polished PM brakes with modified ST bracket, stainless lines and chromed aircraft surplus caliper anchor. Doug is doing all his own wiring, he's gotten pretty good at it though he say's he hates doing it.
Rear view of the molded in glass lens tail light , tag mount and Tommy "Itchy" Otis' pinstriping and gold leaf work.
Knuckle risers with custom made bars, the stud in the middle holds a mount for Dougs Iphone with his speedo app. more stainless brake lines.
 Super trick I.S.R. hand controls
New Kenda rubber front and rear, smoothed and painted legs, black powdered wheels, more Itchy pins, dual stainless rotors, PM single spots and braided lines.
Severely trimmed, smoothed and powdered cam cover, nickle plated brake pedal, polished engine cases and Crane Hi-4 single fire ignition.
More nickle plate on the hanger for the brake pedal and the master cylinder rod. That's a 22 tooth sprocket for comfy highway cruising.  Stay tuned, more pics to come soon.

TOM MEDLEY DIED TODAY...A GREAT ICON HAS LEFT US AFTER 93 YEARS.

I am so very fortunate to have had the chance to spend a few hours with this great legend in his home just a few months ago. I had gone there with with pinstriping legend
Tommy "itchy" Otis to ask Mr. Medley to put his signature to a collection that Itchy was putting together. He lived in a small home in Burbank and was very happy to see us. He showed us a lot of old cartoons he had drawn in the very first Hot Rod Magazine back in the early forties. I couldn't believe it, to see this history in person by the man himself. An amazing day ...Rest in peace Tom, I'm sure you and Stroker will have a good time wherever you are!

HOT ROD’s Tom Medley Dies at 93 Earliest HOT ROD Staffer and Father of "Stroker McGurk" Was 93 Written by: Thom Taylor on March 2 2014 10:09 PM 4 tom medley 01 We are sad to report that one of the cornerstones of HOT ROD Magazine, and hot rodding in general, passed away today. Tom Medley was the first employee of Bob Petersen as HOT ROD’s Cartoon Editor starting with the second issue of HOT ROD in 1948. Medley had a prolific career during his decades with Petersen Publishing. Among his professional highlights: He created the beloved cartoon character Stroker McGurk Drew the early cutaway illustrations and cartoons for HOT ROD Photographed hundreds of features for both HOT ROD and Rod & Custom Was ad manager for HOT ROD As publisher of Rod & Custom, he made the decision to switch R&C’s editorial content to street rods in 1966 Spearheaded the Street Rod Nationals in Peoria, Illinois, in 1970 Spearheaded the National Street Rod Association [NSRA], also in ’70 [and created the logo that is still in use today] Coined the term “Street Is Neat” Served as editor and publisher of Petersen’s Street Rod Quarterly for years Generally worked behind the scenes in many capacities at Petersen from 1948 until his retirement in 1984 And these were only his publishing exploits. He was also a crack go-kart racer, car builder, upholsterer, political cartoonist, and in many ways the face of modern hot rodding today. To say he was woven into hot rod culture is an understatement. Medley was 93 years old.
